The Digil and Rahawiin are two of the clan federations of the Somali peoples. The Somalis are not a unitary people group, but a grouping of broad clan federations divided by language and by clan conflicts. They are virtually all Muslim. The Digil-Rahawiin clans may offer special challenges to evangelists and church planters because of the clan divisions within the broader group. Pray for laborers to sow God's Word to persons and households of peace, which will in turn catalyze movements to Christ among the Rahanweyn people.
